We better get ready to keep the water dripping because I heard on KOCO 5 that we will be experiencing temperatures below freezing that are much colder than the previous front that brought us snow. I believe it! I love winter but would like to see more snow than just bitter cold weather! There’s no fun in that for anyone!
Congratulations to Connie Carpenter and Natalie Carpenter at Main Street Bakery and Café for re-opening the café again! Erick really needed a place to go and enjoy some homecooked meals. This will also help feed your family on days you just can’t get out of town to a grocery store for items not found at Dollar General, which by the way, we are all grateful to have too! You can always order the special for lunch and have it at night!
The City of Erick and Roger Miller Senior Citizen Center, in conjunction with SWODA, have been awarded funds to provide meals twice weekly to individuals aged 60+ or handicapped/ disabled persons. The cost is $3.00 per participant and will be available for pick up or delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meals will be served by Main Street Bakery and Cafe.
