Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs Announces the Inaugural Meeting of the Oklahoma Veterans Advisory Forum (OVAF)
Oklahoma City, OK — The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) is proud to announce the inaugural meeting of the Oklahoma Veterans Advisory Forum (OVAF), a newly established platform aimed at fostering collaboration among veterans-focused nonprofits across the state.
About OVAF: The Oklahoma Veterans Advisory Forum (OVAF) is designed to serve as a vital platform for collaboration among veterans-focused nonprofits throughout Oklahoma. OVAF provides advice and recommendations to the Oklahoma Veterans Commission (OVC) and the ODVA on policies and solutions addressing the challenges faced by Oklahoma’s veterans.
Mission & Vision: Unify veterans-focused organizations in Oklahoma.
Facilitate discussions on key veterans’ issues.
Identify actionable solutions to enhance services and outcomes for veterans and their families.
Advise on state policies affecting veterans.
Address emerging concerns within the veterans’ community by ensuring they reach the OVC and ODVA leadership.

There are no dues—just a direct voice to influence change and improve veterans’ services without unnecessary bureaucracy.
