As the school year nears an end, April’s regularly scheduled meeting for the Elk City Public Schools Board of Education was similar to most April’s meetings.
The board met at 6 pm on April 14 and primarily discussed paying the end of the 2024-2025 school’s bills.
As previously reported, the school’s annual audit showed the school to be coming in slightly under budget.
The board voted to set a date, time, and place for the selling of $1,675,000 in building bonds for the school district.
This date and time will likely be set at the next meeting.
The board voted to retain Steve Walker and Makenzie Hickman as teachers.
