The North Fork of Red River Conservation District announced that funds are available for cost share assistance on select conservation practices.
The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to our conservation district to help landowners implement measures that address their resource concerns.
Conservation practices available for cost-share assistance include: cover crops, brush management (mesquite spraying), and high tunnel systems.
The cost-share rate is 50% for qualifying practices up to a maximum payment of $5,000. The district will be accepting applications until May 30th, 2025.
Applications can be filled out at the office or sent via email. Please contact the North Fork of Red River Conservation District at (580)928-3113 ext. 3019 to obtain an application. District staff are available by phone from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
