Welcome Back Sayre School Family!

2025–2026 School Year Dear Students and Families, We hope you've all had a relaxing and fun summer! It's hard to believe, but it’s already time to gear up for another great school year. We’re excited to see our returning students and thrilled to welcome all of our new faces to the school community.

As we jump into the 2025– 2026 school year, we’re especially excited to introduce three awesome new teachers who are joining our team:

• Ms. Keagan Hertensen is our new Agriculture Education Teacher. She graduated from Oklahoma State University and spent the last year teaching in Oregon. She brings a lot of knowledge, energy, and love for agriculture, and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

• Mr. Ben Hayes is coming to us from Erick School. He’ll be teaching 8th Grade History and also helping out with Basketball and Baseball. He’s ready to jump in and get involved both in the classroom and on the court and field.

• Mr. Garrett Thomas, another OSU grad, is our new Boys Basketball and Golf Coach. He and his family are moving here from Edmond, and we’re excited to welcome them to our school and community. Coach Thomas brings a lot of passion for sports and helping students succeed.

We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of great memories. Thank you for being part of our school— let’s make this a year to remember!

Here are some important dates to put on your calendar.

• Online Enrollment will be open July 30th

• Chrome Week: August 4th-8th, 8:30 am to 3:00pm.

• Meet the Eagles on August 7th at the football field.

• Back-to-School Night: August 12th, 6 pm - 7:30 pm

• First Day of Classes: Thursday, August 14th.
