In the August 15, 2025 edition of the Beckham County Record, the article titled _“Horsepower” Project Aims to Put Sayre on the Route 66 Map_ incorrectly stated that the City of Sayre would be paying $10,000 toward the project and that the Route 66 sign would be placed in Sayre City Park.
In fact, the City of Sayre will receive $10,000, and the Route 66 sign will be installed in front of the Shortgrass Country Museum (formerly the Rock Island Depot). We regret the errors.
