WTC-Sayre recently hosted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) Refresher Course for law enforcement personnel who have already attended the 24 hour SFST Basic Course. This four (4) hour class helps law enforcement personnel maintain proficiency in the detection of drivers suspected of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating beverages, and to administer the SFST as part of their investigation.
Law enforcement personnel from Beckham County Sheriff’s Office, Sayre Police Department, and Cordell Police Department attended this training. WTC Criminal Justice Instructor, John Currid taught the class. Mr. Currid also serves as a Reserve Deputy with Beckham County Sheriff’s Office. He is a CLEET certified instructor and a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor.
WTC is committed to “educating people for success”!
