Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 21st, from 4-6 p.m. for “Ice Cream in the Park”, hooted by the Erick First Baptist Church. There will be hot dogs, a bounce house, and lots of fun and fellowship and of course ice cream!!
The City of Erick sponsored 2025 Purple People Eater Fest will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9/26-9/28. I will have detailed information on all of the activities in the 9/20 edition of this paper. There will also be a special edition of the paper the weekend of the event. Gena said to call her at the newspaper office if you are interested in advertising. If you need specific event details before then, please contact City Hall at 580-526-3924for more information.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Teresa Wilhelm Martin. She was a member of the EHS Class of 1962. Graveside services were held this past Wednesday, 9/10, at the Erick Cemetery.
Our sympathy is also extended to the family of Darrell Heinsohn. A memorial reception was held to honor his memory was held this past Tuesday, 9/9.
I don’t show any anniversaries for this week, but I am sure I will see some on Facebook after the fact!
