Sheb’s Shindig will start tonight at 8:00 p.m. and continue until 12:00 a.m., featuring Matt Moran & the Palominos. Special guest, Christie Wooley, will be on hand on Saturday evening also for Sheb Wooley’s induction to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. “Monster Brews and Booze” will be served by the C & K and The Thirsty Frog. Sunday morning will close out the Purple People Eater Festival with a pancake breakfast.
Get ready for “Sam’s Fest” next! On October 4th, food will be served starting at 5:00 p.m., and live music by Lee Sheets and Co., sponsored by Ben Whipkey, will be playing from 7-10:00 p.m. that evening. Bring your lawn chairs and come on out and enjoy this fun evening! Also, if you would like to donate hot dogs, or buns and condiments, chips, etc., get in touch with Sam Hagan and see what he might still need for the event. He is also selling T-shirts for $25 too.
