October is National Principals Month!
It’s time to celebrate the incredible leaders at the heart of our schools — our principals! Their vision, dedication, and constant support help shape the foundation for student success and a thriving school community.
Sweetwater High School is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Mr. Daffern, who has served as the school’s Principal for 8 years. In addition to his work as principal, Mr. Daffern also coaches the Sweetwater boys’ cross country team. In 2024, he was named the Oklahoma State Cross Country Coach of the Year, a recognition of his dedication and success in guiding student-athletes. Under his leadership, the Sweetwater High School boys’ cross-country team captured the 2024 Oklahoma Class A State Title, bringing pride and recognition to the school and community.
Sweetwater Schools proudly recognize the leadership and dedication of Mr. Callison, who has served as the elementary principal for the past three years.
Along with his role in administration, Mr. Callison also shares his passion for athletics by coaching both the Junior High and High School baseball teams. Balancing the responsibilities of principal and coach, Mr. Callison is committed to guiding students in the classroom and on the field. His efforts reflect a strong dedication to student growth, teamwork, and school pride.
We’re proud to recognize the outstanding work of our #BulldogNation015 principals who go above and beyond every single day.
