The 6th Graders Brought the Parade to Us! Mrs. McConnell introduced them to Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet during their library lesson. This book talks about the history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They then had to design and create their own balloon to walk in our parade!
