Christmas Drive - Nov 8 to Dec 10 Donate toys for kids 0 to 14, any size coats (kid or adult), any blankets. Drop off locations include First Baptist Church, First Methodist Church, Sayre Catholic Church, Spring Creek Baptist, Sassy Chic, Sayre City Hall, and Sayre Public Library Christmas in the Park - Volunteers are needed to help with lights and decorations. This year’s goals are the entrance and lights around the tree trunks. A light drive was held after Christmas last year with good success. There should be enough lights to do this, if there is enough help to get it done. However, if you have extra lights or extension cords, they are still wanted and needed. You can drop them off at Sayre National golf course.
Storefront Showdown Now till Dec 5 Businesses are encouraged to get in the spirit of the holidays with a friendly competition of either best storefront or best window. Winners will be announced at Hometown Christmas.
Hometown Christmas - Dec 6, 3pm - 8pm Come join us for our Hometown Christmas event! We will have a food & drink truck, plenty of vendors for easy shopping, a scavenger hunt around the local businesses to finish out for a prize, pictures with Santa & so much more!
