Wow, this year has flown by, and now there are just a couple more weeks until Christmas, people! Do you have all your shopping done or are you like me and wait until the last minute?! We usually do ours between Christmas and New Year’s, so I do have a little more time!
The City of Erick, Erick EMS, and Erick Fire Department Toy Drive parade & delivery will be this coming Friday, 12/19, beginning around 6:00 p.m. that evening. There will also be a raffle for two metal Erick Bearcat yard stakes for $1.00 per ticket or $10.00 for 11 tickets. We will draw the winner on the 12/19 home basketball game before they deliver the toys. Proceeds go to the toy drive. Tickets are available at City Hall plus they will also be set up at the basketball home game on Tuesday, 12/16, to sell tickets.
Megan Wreyford wanted to remind everyone that they still have the Route 66 coloring contest calendars for sale at City Hall, so go by and get one of those.
