Before break, Canute FFA hosted their 2nd annual Build Off. There were 28 teams on campus from West Texas to Eastern Oklahoma. These teams worked nonstop, building projects to meet blueprint specifications for submission and evaluation. They had to endure cold and wind while overcoming other obstacles to submit a completed project. While here, the students demonstrated professionalism and pride, which reflects positively on the community and encourages ongoing support. They also had the opportunity to meet with a representative from Tulsa Welding School and to see new equipment and technology from ESAB and Victor Torch.
Canute FFA wants to thank Ronnie Riggs of ESAB and Janning Welding in Elk City for the donations of prizes and thank Mr. Cook and the School Board for their support in allowing use of the school parking lot for the teams to set up. Your support helps us create meaningful opportunities for students and strengthens our community bonds.
