Bring on 2026! I hope it’s a very happy, healthy and prosperous year for all of us.
School is back in session with the downhill slide beginning now through the end of the school year. Parents of seniors are getting weepy with all of the “lasts” they will experience with them, and the kids themselves can’t wait to get out!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Peggy Jo Patten. Services were held Wednesday, 1/7, at Sayre Methodist Church with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Sympathy is also extended to the family of Kirby Abla. Graveside services were held last Monday, 1/5, with coffee and fellowship to remember him at the Erick Baptist Church afterwards.
