WOCS Elk City Campus Students of the Month for December are Brady Dyck (left), representing pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade, and Range Winham, representing 3rd through 6th grades. The students were recognized for their character, effort, and leadership qualities. Lucille’s Roadhouse sponsors the award.
WOCS-Elk City Academic Team placed 3rd in their regional meet held in Clinton. Their next meet will be the Pheonix round held in Mangum next Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Students had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th day of school at the Western Oklahoma Christian “Retirement Center.” This year, the school added a new tradition by giving back 100. Each student to brought one or more boxes of cereal to donate to local food pantries. On the 100th day, they lined up the cereal boxes and created a fun domino effect before donating them all. It was a memorable experience that truly was fun for everyone!
