WTC-Sayre Criminal Justice Program hosted a special assembly at the Sayre campus where guest speaker Linda Green-Bennett shared about her book, and the story of Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Nick Green's murder, and the service work she has been a part of since his untimely death in 2003. She commended students for enrolling in CareerTech to better themselves and have a heart for service. While sharing the story of Trooper Nick Green, she emphasized the importance of finding your purpose and having faith throughout life's challenges and tragedies. She encouraged students to make good choices, surround themselves with people who align with their goals, take care of their mental health, and the importance of serving others.
