Congratulations to our Canute Elementary Spelling Bee winners and all who participated! 1st-3rd Grade Winners: 1st place-Gentry Warnke; 2nd Place-Dominick Andrade; 3rd place-Xayden Cheney 4th-6th Grade Winners: 1st place-Cohen Weeks; 2nd place-Bryant McRee; 3rd place-Lainey Gray. Way to go Super Spellers!

Canute JH and HS Academic Teams were recognized at the Oklahoma Great Plains Academic Conference 2026 Banquet at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. Julio Montoya-Pacheco was Canute’s HS MVP and was, also, one of the Conference HS All-Stars, which includes the top 8 overall average scores.

Eli Schneberger was the Canute JH MVP and one of the Conference JH All Stars. Joseph Mora was also a Conference JH All Star.

Congratulations to all and thank you for representing our school and community so well!!!

Canute JH Coach, Casey Elliott, was recognized as the JH Coach of the Year.

Our JH team was the 2026 Conference Champion!

After reading the book and completing several projects, Canute’s 8th grade class, along with Ms. Dobbs, Mrs. Simmons, and Mrs. Thompson, went to visit The Outsiders House Museum in Tulsa.
