Spring is inching closer, as you can tell by the warm temperatures we have had. Basically, we had no winter this year, which, I for one am a little disappointed with because I love winter and the cold. With this comes that annual shift most of us dread. Yes, it’s almost time to spring forward and lose that one hour of sleep which is happening on March 8th this year.
Erick-Texola Alumni is looking for parade entries for the parade that will be happening on Saturday, 5/23, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This theme this year is patriotic, as this is America’s Semi quincentennial celebration, at 250 years. There will be prizes of $150 for first place, $100 for second place, $75 for third place, and $50 for fourth place.
