Regional Consolation Champs. Qualified for the Area Tournament for the first time since the 90s and won their first-round area game, defeating the #2 team in the state!
The team will also be receiving a distinguished academic honor from the OSSAA for an impressive cumulative team GPA.
They represented our community with class and integrity on and off the court. They played with heart and never quit. We could not be prouder. Way to go DAWGS!!!!

Sweetwater families had a wonderful time celebrating Read Across America Week with a special Family Breakfast! A big thank you to Mrs. Callison, our special guest reader, who shared the classic story, “Harold and the Purple Crayon.” The students loved listening to Harold’s imaginative adventure!
Medal-worthy research projects! Sweetwater 3rd–6th graders are researching like champions and putting the finishing touches on their Winter Olympics research projects! Each student selected a Winter Olympic sport and an athlete to study, diving deeper into who their competitor is, how they train, the medals they’ve earned, and how long they’ve been competing at the highest level.
SPS also held a coloring contest this week. Pictured are the winners from each grade level. Great job to all of our talented artists! Thank you to the families who joined us and helped make this week such a special celebration of reading!
