Students celebrated the start of Read Across America Week with a fun activity called “Read Everywhere!”. To kick off the week, students were invited to pick any spot in the school building to enjoy a good book. Classrooms, hallways, and other cozy corners quickly filled with young readers discovering new stories.
The goal of the activity was simple: show that reading can happen anywhere. By letting students choose their own reading spots, the event created excitement around books and encouraged everyone to spend time exploring the joy of reading.
Throughout the week, students also enjoyed visits from many guest readers who came to share their favorite books and stories. Community members, staff, and volunteers helped make the week even more special by reading with classes and encouraging students to keep exploring the world through books.
