They didn’t find a pot of gold… but these Bulldog students did make rainbows in STEM! St. Patrick’s Day science at its brightest. Learning is the real treasure! Sweetwater first graders have been learning all about synonyms and antonyms! Students took turns playing a puzzle-matching game, where they practiced finding antonyms (words with opposite meanings). It was a fun, hands-on way to build vocabulary and strengthen reading skills. Great job, first graders!

Sweetwater 3rd and 4th grade students have been busy researchers during library class over the past few weeks! As part of their Winter Olympics research project, students explored a winter sport of their choice and learned about a real Olympic athlete who competes in that sport. Today they had the opportunity to present their findings and share what they discovered.
