Largemouth bass, crappie, and saugeye slow on crankbaits, hair jigs, lipless baits, minnows, plastic baits, PowerBait, and small lures around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, shorelines, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, and small lures around docks, main lake, and rocks. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, minnows, shrimp, stinkbait, and worms around creek channels, docks, main lake, rocks, and shorelines. Susan Powell and her husband, Richard White will be presenting, “A Hometown Christmas,” returning to the stage where Powell started her career. Elk City Motorsports Park to Honor Track Champions
Rod Fauver and Joe McConnell from the Elk City Motorsports Park announced their 2023 Track of Champions banquet that will be held Dec, 16th, at the Canyon Conference Center, located at 11552 OK-6 in Elk City. It will begin at 6 p.m. and run until midnight. The cost is $25 if purchased prior to Dec. 8th or $30 at the door. The ticket for admission includes a spread of grilled and buffet foods, soft drinks, and beer. It will be BYOB for anything else that a person might want to drink.
