The Merritt High School Oilerettes played before a packed stadium at the famous “Big House” in Oklahoma City over the weekend in the Oklahoma State 2A State Tournament. The Merritt ladies were joined by the Merritt Oilers in the boys’ bracket, being the only unseated team to make it to the state games. Cell phones make it easier to sync our schedules, but it seems I’m always talking to the top of their heads while they stare at their phones!
