Sanctified Or Sanctimonious?
Dr. Dixie, what does it mean to be “sanctified”? I’ve always heard it as negative: i.e. “She is so sanctimonious I can’t stand to be around her.” Yet I know the Bible says we’re to be “sanctified”. Please clarify. I don’t want to be obnoxious to those who don’t know Jesus!

STILLWATER – While Jack may have gotten lucky with the magic beanstalk beans he received when he traded his cow, gardeners may not be so lucky when purchasing seeds for their gardens. Casey Hentges, host of Oklahoma State University Agriculture’s television program “Oklahoma Gardening,” has a word of caution for gardeners purchasing seeds this growing season.

It came down to the wire on Friday, with Elk City Varsity Elks taking victory on a dramatic walk-off home run in the late innings that sealed their victory over Blanchard. The game was tied at 13 with Elk City Varsity Elks batting in the bottom of the eighth when Cale Poole hit a solo homer.

Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles easily dispatched Hslc Sp 23 12-4 on Tuesday Hslc Sp 23 got things moving in the first inning. Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Ayva Woods singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Addi Mariano singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for Sayre Varsity Lady Eagles.
