ANNIE DENNIS
Annie grew up in southern Texas along with her three older brothers, Delmar Jr., Robert, Fred and one older sister Bette Mae and one younger sister Shirley. She attended East Central High School in Atkins, TX and graduated with class of 1968. She married Denny Dennis and to this union two children were born, Kimberly and Chad. They moved from Texas to Sayre, OK in 1977. Annie and Denny were divorced in 1982. Shortly after she met her life long partner Johnnie Fairless. She worked at Rexall Drug, Dale’s Pak N Sak, Sayre Memorial Hospital, and ACE Hardware. Annie retired from ACE Hardware in 2022 as the office manager.
In her spare time, Annie enjoyed watching Gunsmoke. She loved the outdoors fishing, gardening, and feeding birds. Annie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, love of her life Johnnie Fairless, brothers Delmar Jr., Robert, and Fred Muenster, sisters Bette Mae Sumner and her husband Bud and Shirley Chatham and her husband Andy, nephews David and Paul Sumner.
