Ladon grew up in Shamrock, TX along with her two sisters Brenda, Kathy, and one brother Terry. She attended and graduated from Shamrock Public. After graduation she married and had two children Rusty and Sindi. They briefly made their home in Amarillo,TX where she worked at the meat packing plant. In 1980, she moved to Berlin, OK and 1986 moved to Sayre, OK. She started working at Grand Place Nursing Center and later at Hensley Nursing Home in Sayre, OK as a nurses assistant. Ladon loved animals and after working as a nurses assistant she went on to work at various dog farms such as Carol Haley, Marla Hendrix, and Debbie Tignor. In 2018, she moved back to her family farm in Erick, OK where she resided and help take care of the cows until she passed.

In her spare time, Ladon loved to sew, craft, and make quilts. She also loved animals whether it be the dogs on the dog farms or the cows on her farm. She liked to spend her time outdoors fishing and gardening. Her favorite pastime at her home was drinking Diet Coke and watching Gunsmoke on the TV. But most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Ladon was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Cynthia Hill, daughter Sindi Lowe, grandson Wyat Miller, brother-in-law Johnny Rhodes.

She is survived by her son Rusty Miller and wife Tamara of Cheyenne, OK; grandson Sean Lowe of Indiana; two sisters Brenda Vermillion and husband Johnny of White Deer, TX, and Kathy Rhodes of Shamrock, TX; brother Terry Hill and wife Jan of Shamrock, TX; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
