Mullin Leads Black Vulture Relief Act to Protect Farmers and Ranchers from Burdensome Federal Overreach
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (ROK) along with Sens. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), introduced the Black Vulture Relief Act to allow farmers and ranchers to protect their newborn livestock from black vultures without burdensome government interference. Mullin’s legislation provides regulatory relief by allowing farmers and ranchers to take black vultures anytime the birds threaten their livestock without a depredation permit. 12/05/2023 11:00 PM

The Elk City Christmas Basket, sponsored by the Elk City Ministerial Alliance has begun it’s Christmas Basket fund raising drive for the 2023 Christmas season. This program was begun in the mid 1930’s during the Great Depression by Paul Wade the late editor of the Elk City Daily News and continued by his son, the late LarryWade.
