One Hundred Years Ago, June 1923
Otis, the young son of Robert L. Ward, had quite a bit of trouble with one of his ears and was taken to the hospital where a piece of glass was removed. About ten years earlier, when he was very small, Otis got a glass bead stuck in his ear at school, which was crushed while being removed. The ear troubled him ever since.

The first time on the Red Carpet Community Theatre’s stage Shaden Foresman will be portraying con man Mike Talman in their production of “Wait Until Dark.” This is the first time he has taken on a serious role that has required him to tone his character down. He usually plays a more comic role.
