PRESS RELEASE written by the 2023 Energy Camp Student Board of Directors Approximately 75 eighth graders from all across Oklahoma attended the 2023 Energy Camp, sponsored by Oklahoma’s Electric Cooperatives May 30-June 2, 2023. The camp was fun and exciting and campers learned about the different cooperatives and what goes on inside cooperatives. They also learned how to climb a pole, use different equipment, learned about the importance of the equipment, and about electricity and how it travels through wires as well as humans.
